Cindy Kennedy discusses natural tick repellent

Are you afraid to walk in the woods or an open field? I have a natural tick repellent recipe that can help with this fear. The news of the wide spread of Lyme disease and co infections have caused many to be resistant to explore the outdoors. Isn’t that sad? The fresh air and the wonder of nature can provide such a relief from the stressors of life. So how do you protect yourself you ask? I hear you!  Awareness and Diligence. Use a natural tick spray made with essential oil. I can provide the oils that I use from Young Living. I decided to use this brand due to their purity, which is of utmost importance. Eucalyptus and Lemon have been studied and proven to be a natural tick repellent, free from toxins. Here is my recipe for the tick repellent spray. I have added citronella to repel mosquitos and fleas as well.  You may email me to order the oils at: [email protected]

Need:
1- 2 oz, Glass Bottle with Sprayer (best if not in a clear bottle, since oils need to be protected from light)

Ingredients:
4 drops Eucalyptus Globulus
4 drops Lemon
3 drops Citronella
2 drops Lavender
1 tsp. Witch Hazel
Filtered Water

Put Witch Hazel into spray bottle first and add the list of essential oils. Swirl bottle to mix. Fill rest of bottle up to neck with filtered water. Screw on sprayer, and shake well before each use.
