Morstein has been a practicing naturopathic physician for 29 years. Earning a summa cum laude BS in Foods and Nutrition from Arizona State University, she graduated from National College of Naturopathic Medicine and did a family practice residency there.  She practiced for 13 years in Montana, and then joined Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine, where she was chair of nutrition, gastroenterology professor and clinical Supervisor.  She is now back in private practice at her own clinic, Arizona Integrative Medical Solutions, in Tempe. 
 
Morstein is recognized as an expert on pre-diabetes and diabetes, and also treats other hormonal conditions, reproductive, thyroid and adrenals. Her 560-page book “Master Your Diabetes: A Comprehensive, Integrative Approach to Both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes,” is an in-depth, evidenced based, accessible educational book for both patients and physicians.

Morstein is the founder and Executive Director of the Low Carb Diabetes Association, a 501c3 education nonprofit. She has lectured on many different hormonal conditions and treatments at conferences and webinars. 
 
Morstein also has a very busy gastrointestinal practice. A leading speaker in conferences and webinars,  Morstein is considered an expert in treating all conditions of the gastrointestinal tract.
