The fact that the gut has over 70 percent of our immune system within it substantiates the need to make it a priority.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Strand graduated from Bastyr University in 2005 with a doctorate in naturopathic<br \/>\nmedicine. Following her graduation, she established her practice in the Seattle area, working at<br \/>\nPharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, as well as in a gastrointestinal specialty clinic.
