Cindy Kennedy, FNP, is joined by Ashley Besecker, an expert in human biochemistry, for a discussion of the difference between caring for people who are sick and tired and athletes who are trying to optimize their wellness for performance. The bottom line is optimizing good nutrition and appropriate supplementation to balance the body and improve wellness.

Trained as a registered dietitian nutritionist, she has gone on to specialize in nutritional genetics and sports medicine and has completed degrees at Pepperdine University, Vanderbilt University and Stanford University. She owns Crave Health.

She believes in using science with integrity, building trust with players, and working smarter in order to attain longevity in a professional athlete’s career.
