Chris Marano

Cindy Kennedy, FNP, is joined by Chris Marano, a clinical and community herbalist of Western, Chinese, and First Nation healing traditions who has operated a healthcare practice in Western Massachusetts since 1995.

He is a registered herbalist with the American Herbalist Guild, teaches topics in herbalism at the University of Massachusetts, is the founder of Clearpath Herbals, providing health and wellness consultations and custom-blended herbal preparations, and founder-director-head instructor of Clearpath School of Herbal Medicine, dedicated to the teaching of herbalism, holistic health, and Earth-based wisdom and sustainability.

His new company, Chrysalis Botanicals, will be offering time-tested herbal formulas for many health conditions, starting with the popular remedy, Lyme Aid.

Chris has over 30 years experience as a teacher of Buddhist/Taoist-based meditation, psychology and philosophy. He holds bachelors and masters degrees in pre-medicine, Chinese philosophy-spirituality and science education from Columbia University, a graduate herbal degree from the Herbal Therapeutics School of Botanic Medicine, Chinese Buddhist and Taoist training from the Chan Center of NYC, Cherokee and Anishinaabe medicine training from First Nation elders and teachers, and training and experience in Somatic Experiencing trauma therapy; all of which he weaves into his consultations and teaching.
